As we approach the end of 2024, it’s easy to feel weighed down by the tragedies and challenges that have filled our headlines. The world often feels heavy, and it’s natural to focus on the struggles when they’re so hard to ignore. But here’s the thing: while sorrow has its place, it doesn’t tell the whole story.

2024 wasn’t just a year of difficulties—it was also a year of resilience, progress, and human connection. The truth is, we get what we focus on, and if we look hard enough, there is light even in the darkest of times. So, as we set the stage for a brighter 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on the good things that happened this year—the moments of hope, innovation, and kindness that made 2024 extraordinary.

A Challenge for the Rest of 2024

Finding the good in 2024 is only as challenging as where we focus. As we move into 2025, let’s change the lens through which we view the world. Instead of dwelling on what’s wrong, let’s actively seek out what’s right. Let’s focus on the stories of courage, the progress being made, and the small, beautiful moments of everyday life.

    Here’s my challenge to you:

Spend 5 minutes each day looking for the good. Whether it’s a kind gesture, a positive news story, or a beautiful sunset—pause to appreciate it.

Celebrate small wins. Big changes often start with tiny steps. Honor the little things that go right in your day.

Share positivity. Spread good news with your friends and family. A simple story or kind word can brighten someone else’s perspective.

Give back where you can. Be a source of good in someone else’s life, whether through volunteering, lending a helping hand, or simply listening.

2024 reminded us that life is complex. But even in the toughest times, there is light to be found if we choose to look for it. As we enter 2025, let’s carry that light with us and create a ripple effect of positivity and hope.

The world is what we make of it—so let’s make it better, one good moment at a time.
